Around two weeks ago I had a request from a certain boy that he was in need of a sparkle and purple velvet cape. Oh and it had to have a lightning bolt on. Needless to say I had to make one for his sister too.
Three night ago he gave me permission to " work though the night until I finish the capes"
Well I had to do it!
The fabric is from Jo Anne's . I do still want to change the piece around the neck to a bigger piece of fabric that rests on the shoulder and fastens with a press stud. The elastic and button does pull around the neck.
So here are the capes.!

How fabulous! So glad you were granted permission by A. to work through the night! The cape looks great with his light saber. We miss you guys.
